Everything passes- My journey from Diagnosis to Inner Healing

I began to think about these set of letters-blogs a few years ago. I wasn’t then ready to share it as I am now. I want people to learn from it, to get inspired. To discover the benefits of positive thinking, exercise, and hope. That’s a diagnosis, is not always the end; it could also be an opportunity for a new beginning, and that everything passes.

Additionally, I embarked not only on an academic and learning journey to redress the causes or possible misalignments in my life that contributed to my previous illness. In fact, I embarked on an honest journey of self-discovery and change, pushing me beyond my comfort zone and challenging me to grow. Finally, I would like to advocate for Integrative and complementary therapies backed by research in the healthcare system.

This is the first of a series of blogs that I hope could be of help to anyone that might need it.

I never imagined that I would  right about this  chapter in my life. I did not have a family history of this. On the outside, I was living well—exercising regularly, eating healthy, raising my kids, building a new studio, and keeping a full schedule. By most standards, I was thriving. Nevertheless, inside, I was holding a lot. Stress. Unspoken pain. Disappointment in my personal life. A quiet sense that I was constantly pushing through, trying to keep everything and everyone afloat — including myself.

I believed that if I kept eating healthy, exercising and allocating enough time for my kids and friends, I would have been fine. But life has a way of revealing what’s beneath the surface. to be continue……
